ABOUT: Jackie, by controversial and Nobel Prize winning Elfriede Jelinek, is an intensely theatrical dissection of Jackie Kennedy Onassis and the myths surrounding her well-coiffed veneer. Taking place in the labyrinth of Jackie's mind, the piece is a disturbing exploration of submission, power, celebrity and the hypocrisy of everyday life. Splitting this one woman show into a diverse group of actors, we explored the different facets that construct an icon. Taking inspiration from Jackie's passion for preservation and presentation, we evoke her essence through obsessively creating a space that can never be perfect but never stops trying.
